Yak Ylub is an organisation built on a whim and powered by hopes and dreams. No one reflects the impulsive nature of Yak acquisition quite like Tom Bisset.
Enjoyed a Saturday jaunt on a rigid boi? Well then the only reasonable thing to do is immediately buy your own Yak and submit your application to the Cabinet.
Tom has a history of joining organisations with strict hierarchies and swazzy stash selections. This previous experience and his un-flappable attitude shone through during Yakspedition. Incoming lightning storm: “I’ll charge my phone”. Wild bears are nearby: “No thanks, I’ve already eaten”. Whilst others scrambled for the high ground, Le Bisset made the rocks comfortable and told the river to be quiet.
It is often difficult to explain to lay people how floating around on a high-vis condom could be fun, well imagine doing it without photographic evidence. Capturing beautiful pictures used to be a cumbersome task that involved carrying heavy equipment. But not for the Ylub, with our compact and highly portable Tom Bisset, our Gallery is fully stocked.
The world needs Dan Strutts to revel giddily in each Yakking moment, but without Tom Bissets, we would never get to see them again.
