It’s Official!
The 2019 Season is about to begin.
Anyone that’s anyone opened their post this morning to receive their EGM invitation. The Ylub will be celebrating the launch of a new era with drinks and special guest lectures from 8pm on March 31st.
If your invitation hasn’t arrive yet, then panic not; there’s a slim chance your omission was an accident. Really slim. But if you are totally certain that you should be there, then contact the Ylub to check your name against the guest-list. Good luck with that.
In the meantime, start waxing your hulls, sharpening your paddles and balancing your life jackets, because once the Yakking gets underway, you’ll have no time for useless stuff like that.

First Boop of the Year 2019 Champion has been crowned
The Ylub was delighted to gather at the spiritual home of slow service and dirty glasses to anoint the champion in our ranks.
The great and the good were present whilst the shamed and defeated were conspicuously (and deliberately) absent.
Daniel Strutt has demonstrated the truest qualities of Yak Ylub in his ascension to the peak of the sport. Whilst his title is permanent, the Champion knows that his work is only just beginning.

Please be upstanding in welcoming Jamie Matthews to the Cabinet
Yak Ylub is delighted to announce that Jamie Matthews has become the first Yakker ever to secure promotion to the Cabinet.
His application received unanimous support from the existing members and demonstrates a remarkable fortitude of character to overcome the barriers he has faced.
His rise to prominence is an important lesson to all aspiring floaters; never give up and if at first you don’t succeed, throw money at the problem until it floats away.
