Rob Randall

2019 heralded an important diversity milestone in the Ylub’s history with a woman joining the Cabinet for the first time. Diesel’s subsequent ascension to the upper echelon was a signal that the Ylub was a home for all. Now, we’ve gone one further and accepted a truly primitive specimen: a northerner.

As a lifelong fan of the Bisons and Wigan Warriors, Rob is well versed in prepping a team for the demands of the Wey. He has been instrumental in the design and implementation of our pre-season fitness regime and should take great pride in the array of finely tuned paddling machines available each weekend to the Ylub.

Rob’s passion for Yakking is the latest chapter in a lifetime of new challenges and adventures that have carried him around the world. From growing up in an archaic culture, Randall has followed his nose across the globe, mastering every climate put in front of him.

An outdoorsman of Rob’s calibre is an exciting addition to the Ylub, his adventure planning abilities and keen sense of Ylub spirit will doubtlessly prove invaluable, even if it comes attached to an accent that makes the rest of us a little bit uncomfortable.
