Yabitha Yay
Trail blazing is to Yak Ylub what reliability is to Itiwit; it’s who we are and what we do. So with that in mind, the Ylub is delighted to welcome our first female Cabinet member into the fold.
Regardless of gender, the Ylub always looks for the best in our Yakkers, and you don’t have to search hard to uncover these traits in Yabby:
- Enthusiasm for yakking? Check.
- Tolerance for boat puns? Check.
- Ability not to become Yit? Check.
The Ylub does not normally publish any part of a Yakker’s request to join the Cabinet, but Yabitha’s Yapplication took the unorthodox step of including a letter of reference provided by someone known to many members of the Ylub. Being familiar with this character, the Ylub is able to say with absolute certainty that if Yabby is good enough to keep up with him, then she’s definitely ready to float at a higher level.
As the Cabinet continues to grow and branches out from its traditional rugby-player centric demographic, one would be forgiven for fearing that some of the core identity of the Ylub may have been diluted. But any Ylubber fortunate enough to have spent an afternoon atop the gentle flow of the Wey with Yabitha will know, she’s truly one of us.
